One of the most promising features in Lionhead Studios's latest golden title, Fable II, is its online co-op multiplayer mode. Sadly, as posted in publisher Microsoft's Gamerscore blog, the feature will not be available at the game's launch.
"[Microsoft] just got word that while we will be able to play the single player and local co-op on day one, they are still making tweaks to the online co-op. Don't worry, it is definitely still coming."
We'll still see our buddies as "glowing orbs" online while chatting and trading items with them, but again, no online co-op just yet. Microsoft will be notifying us when the feature is ready. Fable II is set to launch this October 21 for the Xbox 360.
