Sega gives the latest scoop on their upcoming, next-gen franchise revival of Golden Axe: Beast Rider.
According to Sega, Beast Rider is not reallya "remake" of the classic Arcade and Genesis franchise, but rather a "reimagination" of the series. Emphasizing on the beast riding, this next-gen Golden Axe focuses on the many behemoths your character can ride, include the ability to "Beast-Jack" an enemy. Familiar characters, villains, as well as the loving gnomes are back in the title.
Golden Axe: Beast Rider is due out this October 17 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 platforms.
