'Rage' 360: Contents Will Not Change

Posted September 17, 2008 - By John Manalang

Debunking previous reports of iD Software altering the Xbox 360 version of their upcoming FPS, Rage, due to hardware restraints, designer Tim Willits said that absolutely no content will be changed in the title's final version. Willits said to Shack News:

"There was NO CONTENT removed from RAGE because of the 360--NONE AT ALL. We feel the 360 is a great platform and will provide a fantastic Rage experience."

Reports of id Software's favor on other platforms over the 360 began last month when designer and Doom creator John Carmack said that Rage will look worse on the Xbox 360. The title will span two-discs on the Xbox 360 version. Rage is due out sometime in 2009 also available for the PS3 and PC platforms.
