Sony's Home is arriving this year, but according to Wired, all its promised features may not make it in the final version. As observed from the title's closed beta test last August, Wired reports that the avatar-populated community network's video-sharing capabilities was nowhere to be found.
Introduced in 2007, Home's video sharing was to enable users to view each other's content by simply going into their peer's virtual apartment and watch whatever the host desires. Legal implications, such as copyrights of certain movies or even adult content, may have persuaded Sony to take the feature off.
Again, nothing has been confirmed with Home other than its debut by the end of the year.
