If you're tired of your iPhone and are looking forward to the next big phone thing, you might not be waiting too long. Google Android, the phone operating system, supposedly drops on September 23rd inside a T-Mobile handset.
Developed with the intention of opening up the cell-phone, the "Dream" (as the Android-enabled phone is called) will feature an application store like the iPhone and a web browser based on Google's new PC browser, Chrome.
Andy Rubin, Google's director of mobile platforms, says the company has a lot riding on the phone: "If we come out with a dud, people will go, 'Well, that was a waste of time," said Rubin.
