Actress Brittany Snow, who starred in Prom Night and was featured in the third season of the FX series Nip/Tuck, will star in the upcoming film adaptation of Capcom's horror title Clock Tower.
Steering away from the game's original storyline, Ms. Snow will play as a 15-year-old psychiatry patient who is disturbed by demonic disturbances after seeing the death of her parents. The initial Clock Tower games, released in 1995, revolved around the character of Jennifer Simpson, who is constantly being chased by a giant-scissor wielding madman, frighteningly named...Bobby.
Currently at the director's helm for the fim is Mark Weisz, who worked on The Hills Have Eyes 2. The film is currently scheduled for a 2009 release.
