Sony's high velocity racer, WipEout HD, will go for $20 when it hits the North American shores this fall via Playstation Network download, as confirmed producer Daimion Pinnock through Shack News.
This latest title of the franchise pull 16 tracks from previous installments, gearing for a cheek-slapping speed race and SIXAXIS enabled controls. "Having eight players in there, and make sure they're running at 60 frames with no lag, is really important," said Pinnock. "We wanted to make sure that this one kind of made a statement, and was something that we could be really proud of, and we absolutely are."
WipEout HD, developed by SCE Liverpool, will be available for the Playstation 3. Hit the jump for the trailer.
