Yet More X-Men Films A-Comin’?

The upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine flick may not be the last of the X-Men spinoffs, or so says insiders at 20th Century Fox.

Yes, the film studio is considering the possibility of more X-Men flicks, including a young X-Men project and a Deadpool spinoff, based on a character played by Ryan Reynolds in Wolverine.

Fox is also considering reviving the Daredevil franchise, which was nearly destroyed in 2003 by Ben Affleck. But hopefully someone will talk some sense into them on that one…

20th Century Fox could use a hit too, as they are coming off a rough summer. But there’s some likely hits in the canon, including Night at the Museum 2: Escape From the Smithsonian on Memorial Day weekend, and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs on the Fourth of July weekend.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine hits on May 1, 2009.
