Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said that the company's not planning to implement a hard drive to their Nintendo Wii console, but they are looking to find a "better solution", according to an interview with Club Nintendo.
What do they mean by a better solution? With the Virtual Console and Wii Ware's new title releases every week, it's was only a matter of time until Nintendo releases a HDD for the console. The space is quite convenient on the PS3 and 360, so why not put it in hottest selling console out today? We'll see what Nintendo conjures up, but remember how successful the Nintendo Disk Drive was in 1999? Yeah, not so much, but heck...it's Nintendo, it's always a welcome surprise whatever they come up with next.
Also, according to Shigeru Miyamoto's interview with Japanese Club Nintendo, the legendary developer said Nintendo's not planning to release anymore peripherals to the Wii as there's already a generous amount currently out. And, yes folks, they are indeed working on new Zelda titles.
