Notorious celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has been tapped to host the live Webcast of this year's MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) in Liverpool on Nov. 6.
The EMAs ceremony is being held at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, and Hilton’s role will include interviewing celebrities at the event, backstage, and gathering gossip event.
Hilton’s presentation will be transmitted live on MTV's multi-platform network, which includes the EMAs' dedicated Web sites for MTV Networks different European markets, plus mobile WAP sites.
Hilton, who will also present one of the awards, said in a statement: "I've watched the show every year from the U.S., but this will be my first time attending and presenting."
