Sony's Vaio laptop recall has caused a serious sinking feeling in the value of Sony stock which is taking a 4% dip today. This isn't the first recall for Sony regarding laptop batteries which manufactured overheating power units for Dell, Apple, and several other hardware companies over the past few years.
There's discussion about how this recall will affect the mostly shiny reputation of Sony electronics. Industry analysts say this may be the last straw for some consumers especially considering it took Sony a year to make a voluntary recall from the first time they heard of "burning" complaints.
Here's an idea: TEST YOUR STUFF MORE! Hurrying crap out doesn't make the crap part of it any less crappy.
