The publisher behind WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 announced today that WWE's claims on a void licensing agreement and alleged bribery with the company was dismissed by the Connecticut Superior Court. WWE action figure manufacturer Jakks Pacific was also included in the wrestling company's claims.
THQ executive vice president of business and legal affairs James Kennedy said:
"The Connecticut Superior Court's decision marks a significant milestone in resolving the WWE litigation. We believe the remaining claims are without merit and we intend to defend ourselves vigorously."
