Good news, geeks and gamers: In honor of the Penny Arcade Expo, Harmonix is dropping a three-pack of the greatest nerd rock on earth on Rock Band! It's truly a historic collection:
- Jonathan Coulton: "Skullcrusher Mountain". Coulton is the singer/songwriter behind Portal's end-credit song "Still Alive" and the theme to Code Monkeys.
- MC Frontalot: "Livin' at the Corner of Dude and Catastrophe." Nerdcore rap impresario MC Frontalot throws down in Rock Band!
- Darkest of the Hillside Thickets: "Shhhh." This track is from the most famous Lovecraftian rock and roll combo in history--yes, there is more than one. Trust us: You'll like it.
They cost 80 Microsoft points and will be available this week on Xbox. No word yet on the PS3 releases.
Check out Frontalot on our own Webby-Award winning series Freestyle 101!
