It's about time Dr. Jones gave handheld gaming a new adventure. The Pan European Game Information (PEGI) has given a "16 and up" rating to Indiana Jones and The Staff of Kings for the PSP and Nintendo DS.
Activision's currently on the publisher's helm, but no other details were disclosed on PEGI's website. The Staff of Kings might feature some characters from the recent film, such as Shia LaBeouf's Mutt Williams, and perhaps even Harrison Ford's voice on the character itself.
However, Siliconera did point out that LucasArts might be preparing a next-gen Indy title that the company announced about two years ago. Well, we'll just have to go LEGO for now.
LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, developed by Traveller's Tales, was released in June 2008 for the 360, PS3, PSP, PS2, Wii, DS and PC platforms.
