Stoked gamer Eric Miller took the top prize at the "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Rocks the Hard Rock" competition Monday night in Boston and won a motorcycle signed by Aero-singer Steve Tyler himself. The contest was part of gala event, Boston for Africa, where citizens opened their purses for FORGE, Foundation Rwanda and Opportunity International.
After the heated bout of Activision's Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (multi-platform), Tyler and Aerosmith drummer Joe Kramer played a brief set with a local support act at Boston's Hard Rock café to a packed crowd that included New England Patriots player Tom Brady. They rocked Aerosmith’s smash hit "Walk this Way" and a cover of James Brown’s "Mother Popcorn." The night ended with a surprise performance by Boston’s own Dropkick Murphys, who jumped onstage to play "The Chosen Few."
