In anticipation of Far Cry 2's debut this October, Ubisoft Montreal narrative designer Patrick Redding has revealed to VideoGaming247 that a third Far Cry game is already in its "preliminary stages".
Redding said that Far Cry 3's setting will be Africa, just like the second installment, but he hints that a change of climate might come:
"There are still things we want to do with the African setting, and I think it's safe to say we'll continue to explore it. That said, we might find something new and compelling about the Antarctic setting that wants us to make the next game there, but honestly, we're still at the preliminary stages."
Far Cry 2, published by Ubisoft, will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC platforms. Make sure you check out the latest vids of the game after the cut.
