'GTA IV' DLC Adds 15 Hours?

Another rumor for you this morning: Video Game site RPG-TV is reporting that the downloadable content coming this fall for Grand Theft Auto IV will add 15 hours of play-time to the game. Whether the DLC will include extra real estate, a new protagonist, or just some new plot development remains to be seen, but when we know anything, we'll tell ya!

It will probably be $10 to $20. Which for an expansion (which this basically is), isn't bad at all. Either way, this is great news.

1. This has got to be a lie, GTA4 isn't even 15 hours long. Its like a whole other game entirely, don't think rockstar would do that for a meesely 50Mill.

2.If...IF!... the DLC is half of that, about 7 hours long. M$ will make more money for each mission. That in total all the DLC's will cost double of that of the game.

Where do you get your info there bud?

The DLC will be nice. It will probably be comparatively priced to the new Sony short games. 10-15 hrs for 15-20 bucks is a good deal. If you don't think so, then don't buy Quest for Booty. I'm sold on both.

can't be that big... most 360's don't have enough HDD realastate to support something that big... and yes they will charge for it... no where did it ever say the extra DLC will be free... most you all got took for a ride by MS...

yeah we'll have exclusive DLC... 8 months after the release when no one is playing GTA4 anymore... and huge games are dropping....

oh we never said we wouldn't charge you extra for it...

we aren't telling you what it is because if we did you wouldn't of cared...

funny, because im thinking "only 15 hours?" but then again, thats alot for dlc. i cant wait, though i was hoping it will be a new city and not just more to do in liberty city. liberty is getting old, i wanna run wild somewhere new.

and all of you saying no one cares about GTA4 are stupid, its still in the top 5 games played on xbox live, which means its getting quite a bit of play.

i doubt it will be too bad of a download, and if its is a big download i will gladly remove some of my less played arcade games to make room for this.

and of course microsoft is going to charge. don't be stupid. we live in a capitalist country and people charge for what they make. they weren't going to have rockstar making exclusives for it and give it away. you have to pay for quality goods, and i will gladly pay $15, $20, heck, even $30 for 15 hours of gameplay. ive payed more then that for a new game that only gave 10 hours of gameplay.

this isnt some half assed mod from some person with no life, and employees have to get paid.

everyone here knows the dlc was going to cost. people just acting stupid as if they were surprised. pretty clear case of trolling and jealousy if you ask me. when you're on top, everyone wants to bring you down. in this case, there's jaded ps3 fanboys still mad about getting a frozen game and no dlc. just patches, that's all you get.

actually the PS3 fans have moved on to better games.... and have a ton more games coming out in the next couple months....

and to the above... GTA4 was the last game of any worth to come out on the 360... so of course people are still playing it... but that will change here shortly when fable and Gears2 drop, not to mention the rockband and GH games dropping... which is about when your DLC will drop... so again no one will care and money will be spent on other games... not some lame DLC...

not flaming here, but how is the dlc for gta4 going to add 15 hours of gameplay to a campaign...and fable 2 and gears 2 together might not last longer than that? rockstar needs to show epic how to program

um no... for me GTA4 was good fun for about 30 min to an hour... after that I was done with it. now I know it's the second coming for some of you guys... but it isn't for me.... and the freezing wasn't a wide spread issue... in fact I don't know of anyone that had a freezing issue... but both my friends with 360's have had RROD... go figure...
