It will work similarly to Call of Duty 4's prestige system, where points will be alloted for doing well within the game. There will be 50 levels to attain, and each can be flipped five times, for you ultimate-rockers out there.
The levels will be "redeemable" for in-game items like new instruments, hairstyles and clothing, so almost RPG-ish element to it.
No word on whether online Guitar Hero World Tour will have a ranking system based on these stats, but it wouldn't be surprising at all.
