'Transformers 2' Posters Revealed?

We're totally not supposed to have the two posters below for the sequel to Transformers. But we do. And we're going to share. Consider it a leak.

We have no idea if these are the posters that will actually show up with the flick next summer, but we're fairly certain they came from inside the studio making it. What do you think? Do they look legit to you?

soooo.... do you think that Bay will throw Gen 1 fans a bone and keep Prime's mouth plate in the out position permanently?

Either fake, or on purpose leak.

There's nothing really new here that isn't considered teaser.

Just image of Prime in daylight and a quote from the first movie.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was an intentional leak, though, but meh.

first one looks fake to me. It's simply a cut and paste of the last scene of the first movie with a new background. Second poster is pretty cool though.

Oh, and I love the taste of salty nuts. Delcious.

Please tell me any transformers u know that are going to be in the sequel. All I know about are those five cunstruction vehicles and mabye soundwave

in regards to the mouth plate i agree with Bay. The mouth is necessary for the film. In a comic for a cartoon it doesn't matter because your not really looking for a dramatic effect. In a film their supposed to be a connection with the characters. Sure Prime looks better without the mouth, but you loose a connection when he speack with out it.

The second picture is really old I have had that picture for almost two years the only difference is the text. So I think it's fake.

i think the first looks more real than the 2nd... the 2nd looks like a fake 2 me!! just hope Transformers 2 is at least as gud as the first!!

As long as Optimus Prime keeps his mouth plate shut, I don't have a problem with anything.

Unless Bay includes more awkward scenes, like the one where whats-his-face's parents thought he was jacking off.

the first poster looks like a scene from the first movie and i dont know about the second one,im not so sure about.if they came out with at least 2 more posters,then it would be probably change my opinion

Huh? Why does Prime need a mouth again? Who is he making this film for, us the fans that grew up watching Transformers all our lives and will see the movie regardless and despite certain circumstances or is it for Ebert & Roper and these little snot nose brats that don't know anything about Transformers outside of the crappy new cartoon and SpongeBob?

Personally, Prime should never have a mouth and if you can't do it right don't do it at all imo. Leave classics alone and make your own original crap instead of turning classics into crap!

this isnt G1 dude. it, like the other 7 tranformers series, are their own thing, and none of them want to be G1. nostalgia aside, G1 was pretty bad, had no story, and was only there to sell toys.

a real face gives prime more emotion then a moving face plate. if you even try and imagine some scenes with optimus from the movie with a moving face plate instead of a mouth, its pretty retarded.

Its a sad day indeed. G4, a video game focused website didn't realize that BOTH of the images are pulled from the Transformers: The Movie Game that was released with the first movie. So, yes, they are indeed fake, unless the studio has gotten so cheap they've decided to use screens created for a video game that came out over a year ago to promote a movie that won't be out until next year. Epic Fail G4, Epic Fail indeed.

If they're for real, then there's nothing being leaked. The posters are neither revealing nor exciting. New characters would be something exciting, not the same ol' same ol'.

A year after the first movie made millions of dollars and "G1 Purists" are still whining about it. I was a fan of the original Transformers cartoon when I was growing up AND I am a fan of the new movie(s). To all the purists out there, please stop whining, you're making me look bad.

the posters are either fake and poorly made, or real and poorly made.

the important thing is that michael bay is a copout director. he thinks big explosions are all anyone cares about, and that we're all a bunch of morons. you can convey emotions without lips, infact lips have strikingly little to do with it. you can pretty easily show emotion through the eyes, the lips just look poorly made. keeping the mouth guard down is stylistically a better choice. keeping the good characters more smooth and simple looking and making the bad more complex and 'sharp' is just basic aesthetic principle.
