'Final Fantasy XIII' Demo Over 90 Minutes?

Here's good news for you Final Fantasy players out there: The demo version of RPG Final Fantasy XIII is said to be over 90 minutes long.

Japanese gamer bible Famitsu is reporting that the playable game preview included with the purchase of the Final Fantasy: Advent Children Complete DVD will last longer than the film. And the film is over two hours. Hence: Very long demo! Supposedly, the demo will cover the very beginning of FF XIII, so no spoilers, either.

The DVD is scheduled for a March of 2009 release in Japan, and will contain HD trailers of Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII, making them the first released trailers of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series. No word on a North American release yet.

Final Fantasy XIII is scheduled for some time in 2009 for the PS3, 360 and maybe PC.

This is going to be one helluva demo! I'll have to pre-order Advent Children for Blu-ray...and buy Spirits Within for Blu-ray.

Oh, god now its on the PC. All honesty I dont see why this has a Xbox 360 tag. The Demo is only playable on a BR disc meaning a PS3 exclusive Demo.

G4 should not be getting 360 fanboys all wet then shooting down their hopes and dreams. Its so mean.

Do you pay attention. FFXIII will be on PS3 AND 360. If it were Bluray and PS3 exclusive, don't you think that'd be mentioned in this article? Common sense. I hate PS3 fanbois!

The article said that the demo and dvd will be available in Japan in march (no words for U.S) so it means that it will be ps3 exclusive, cause ff13 is only on ps3 in Japan. And have we forgotten that versus13 is still ps3 exclusive?

lol SE already said THERE IS NO PC VERSION, its being developed on the PC for the PS3, then the 360.

It wasn't mentioned because G4 "forgot" to mention it. It is a PS3 exclusive demo, it's only coming with Advent Children Complete, which is only on Blu-Ray. And obviously I'm correcting them because I have prior knowledge of the subject. Idiot.

Pass on this game. FF is getting gayer and gayer. At least they use a female as lead this time. I'm not in the mood to really play a game for 50 hours and get a preachy story from the female perspective. Just my opinion.

I loved Code Veronica btw...so no, I don't just hate games with female leads.
