Up until now, you've only ever been able to get the iPhone at an Apple Store or an authorized AT&T outlet, but that, my friends, is about to change. Starting September 7th, the Jesus Phone will be available at Best Buy, and the world will never be the same. Hopefully, this means that the long-suffering people who have been...uh...suffering through the iPhone 2.0 shortage will be able to slake their thirst for a 3G phone.
What it also does is open the window to other retail outlets being able to carry the device, which you can assume will happen almost immediately, and, by the holiday season, you can look forward to that phone being just about everywhere you can imagine. For now, however, you'll have to go to Best Buy...but wait until September 7th, unless you have something to pick up at Best Buy in the meantime, then you should go as soon as you can.
