The potential leading face of the Playstation 3 might not be as intimidating as Master Chief or jollier than Mario. No, but you can make him look like whatever the heck you want. Media Molecule said that LittleBigPlanet's Sackboy is poised to be the "next emblematic character" for Sony's system.
"We want 'LittleBigPlanet' to lead the charge into a new genre of gaming and turn Sackboy into the next emblematic character for the PS3," Product marketing manager Mark Valledor said in an interview with Advertising Age. He added that Media Molecule has "coined 2008 'the year of the PS3' and hopes that the title will give the console a significant push through the next year. "This is a very big title for us," said Valledor.
