Nintendo's Wii Fit is still a hot commodity in the market, but according to Xbox marketing head David Gosen, people don't play it that often. “We’ve seen some research that says 60 percent of people who bought a Wii Fit play it once and don’t play it again," said Gosen in yesterday's interview with Develop. He also said:
“What Nintendo have done with the Wii is truly fantastic – there is no question about it. But I think sometimes there is a thin line between gimmick and great gameplay."
While Nintendo's "digital bathroom scale" is a successful peripheral on its own, Gosen mentioned that the upcoming Inis-developed karaoke title, Lips, will be Microsoft's entry in the "creative" peripheral scene, thanks to its motion-sensored wireless mics.
