Ozzy Joins 'Guitar Hero World Tour'

Remember how you were shredding with Ozzy Osbourne's "Bark at the Moon" on the first Guitar Hero? Well now, along with the legendary Jimi Hendrix, you can now be side-by-side with the former Black Sabbath singer's virtual self  as he will be featured in Activision's upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour. Guitarist Zakk Wylde also joins the roster with two new tracks from the Ozzy's 1980 album, Blizzard of Ozz:

  • "Crazy Train"
  • "Mr. Crowley"

In the process of making his gaming doppleganger, Ozzy said, "I had to put on this black suit with all these little ping-pong ball-like things all over me."  Guitar Hero World Tour, developed by Neversoft Entertainment, will be available this October for the Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and Nintendo Wii consoles.

still over it. I don't think they can convince me to spend more on it. I think the only way I'll be owning more music sim games is if someone gave it to me as a gift.

wow.. I though Ozzy was disabled to do anything remotely like this. WE could barely understand him when he was doing that reality show on MTV, I thought he was going to end up in a drug induced coma. Good to hear he's still able-bodied to do a mocap session.

I'm buying both GH and RB2, but not the extra hardware. Though I may get the new GH guitar with the slider sensor thingie.

Oh my, that is a... bad face model of the Prince of Darkness. Either the Ozzman moved his face, or Activision is just... not that great.

I WANT OZZY OSBOURNE GUITAR HERO expansion pack like what they did with AEROSMITH. Except i want the whole damn IRON MAN song, i hated that in GUITAR HERO 1 they cut the final riff's out of the song. Those final parts of IRON MAN's guitar are the best parts. I love how it just goes on an on forever. I'm excited to play CRAZY TRAIN, that should be really extremely super duper FUN song to play. Mr. Crowley should be good too. GUITAR HERO 4 and ROCK BAND 2 are gonna put me in the poor house. Their both going to be my first NEXT GEN music games. I have all the past GH games on PS2.

FINALLY, Crazy Train in Guitar Hero!! I have been waiting for this sonjg to be in this series since the begining!!! Now all that I have to hope for is Stairway to Heaven!!!

Well, I will get the game with all four periplerals for the PS2, if it is available for this system because its all I have!!!
