We've brought you some details on SOCOM: Confrontation's launch this October 14, but if you can't absolutely wait until then, Sony has got you covered. The online tactical shooter will be hosting a beta starting this September 1 until the 30th and there are two ways to get in:
- GameStop pre-order - head on over to your local stores and reserve a copy. Not only will you be doing yourself a favor by being able to access the beta on day 1, but your buddies will appreciate it too. Why? Because you'll also be receiving a beta code for two of your friends from Sony, so you can all share the joy.
- Playstation Network's QORE - the June issue will contain the public beta access within the application starting September 8th.
So for now, check out our hands on demo of the game to find out what can you expect from Sony Computer Entertainment's anticipated shooter. SOCOM: Confrontations, developed by Slant Six Game, is available exclusively for the Playstation 3.
