The first details of EA's Godfather II have surfaced in the issue of Xbox World 360 magazine that hits newsstands today.
We've heard rumblings that the game would feature RTS elements, and that's true. It's described as a cross between "Scarface and Total War." Hmmm... interesting combination.
There are three cities in the game: Miami, Havana and New York. Here's how the game is going to work: You plan your strategies, devise crimes and allocate resources in the RTS style "Don's View" mode, where you use six classes of characters--bruiser, demolitions expert, arsonist, medic, safe cracker and engineer--to plot nefarious doings. Then, you can switch to the street view and take part in the battles first hand, like a shooter.
The game comes out some time in 2009 on the PC, Wii, PS3 and 360. Go to your newsstand to pick up Xbox World 360 for the first screenshots!
