According to the column of rumors from Electronic Gaming Monthly, Activision's latest WWII shooter, Call of Duty: World at War, could be delayed until 2009.
Developed by Treyarch (Call of Duty 3), World At War will bring another cinematic experience to the World War II shooter saga, with new online co-op modes and weapons such as the flamethrower. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, developed by Infinity ward, was the last installment to the series that became a huge multiplayer hit, even previously beating Halo 3 as the top played game on Xbox Live.
Currently, Call of Duty: World at War is still planned for a November release this year, shooting through the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, DS and PC platforms. Check out the video after the cut.
