Transformers: Fallen’s Destiny Revealed

IDW Publishing recently revealed to MTV News that they are working on a five-part prequel mini-series entitled Transformers: Destiny that will connect the 2007 film to the Summer 2009 sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

IDW revealed that the main villain in the new Michael Bay film will be a powerful robot named The Fallen, who was once one of the thirteen Transformers and is now seeking vengeance.

"[We're going to] explore the background of The Fallen — the main villain of the movie — as well as expand on the 'Reign of Starscream' story that we're doing and tie everything in to what this next movie is going to be," commented writer Chris Mowry. "The next movie starts out with just tons of action and there's obviously going to be a lot of questions, so we're hoping to answer some of those beforehand."

so is it gonna be like X2 where the bad guys have to fight with the good guys to take down a single enemy?
the first one wasn't even that good. megatron was barely in the damn movie

Take megatron from the ocean and some how make him Galvatron. Whats with this new villan? They should just use the main decepticons and not make up new ones as they go.

I liked the Transformers movie, while it did leave a lot to be desired it was still good and I'm looking forward to the sequel. I think they should make galvatron the enemy in this one and unicron in a third.

Obviously it's going to start out with tons of action. It's a Michael Bay movie, no story, just loud sounds and explosions and lights and moving parts.

@ac13bx, the fallen is not a new decepticon, he was created by dreamwave for their war within series that was released in 2002.

Why does it matter if megatron is not in the movie he was in the last one and they beat him they cant keep on using the same villian in every movie it would just get old and the 1st movie was very good.

F%#& Megatron. He got owned because he's a wuss. If he comes back he'd better be stronger. The Fallen should kill Optimus, rip his god damn head off, and then put it on a dead Decepticon's body so they have to fight Neganus Prime or something. I could write for Michael Bay! I should mention, on a serious note, if any of you are still paying attention, if you go to The Fallen's wiki page, his creation story is VERY similar to Sargeras, the titan-turned leader of the Burning Legion in the Warcraft universe. He's even perpetually on fire. Blizzard had Sargeras around back in 1994, though, and I doubt Transformers writers stole the idea from an RTS game. But still, it's pretty cool.

wow pretty cool, they just better make prime more stronger cuz he sux on the first one, got his butt kicked by megatron, which i dont understand, prime fought bone crusher and killed him, but then he fights megatron and doesnt even touch him, cmon, give this autobots a fighting chance and whos excited to see starscream again, i kno i am, he is the best
