WWE Teams With…Freddie Prinze Jr???

Posted by Frank Meyer - Tuesday, July 29, 2008 4:59 PM

In a move that can only be described as downright strange, the WWE has hired actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. (Scooby-Doo, I Know What You Did Last Summer) as a new member of its creative team.

Prinze is genuine fan who has been a celebrity blogger on the WWE Fan Nation site and often attends wrestling events, such as the RAW/Saturday Night's Main Event taping earlier this week and WrestleMania.

Prinze is married to actress Sarah Michelle Gellar…who likely thinks this is a bad idea….but that’s just my guess…

has the world gone upside down?! what is this?

Mike Adamle, host from the original American Gladiators, is now a part of WWE. He's the "general manager" of their RAW brand now! This is nuts.

hey, he goes to bed every night with Sarah Michelle Gellar...

i cannot insult the man...

I doubt she thinks this bad idea, a weird one, but I don't think a bad one.

WWE has been going down hill for a long time and it is only a matter of time before TNA takes over
which is sad because I still remember the Attitude era when there was only WWF and no one could compete.

@BELROCK86
Just because WWF (I still call it WWF) is going in the crapper doesn't mean that TNA is taking over anything. They're both absolutely terrible and makes me ashamed to admit that I once enjoyed watching the spectacle.

@ MaximusPaynicus

you should be ashamed

I think this is awesome.

TNA Still sucks

This will work out well.

You know, like giving David Arquette the WCW Title or having Mae Young give birth to a rubber hand.

Also, TNA seems to think that its Knockouts are the attraction of the show.

Sorry, but TNA can be just as stupid. I mean, Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner? There's a REASON I stopped watching these guys in WCW.

Curry Man, though, is the bomb.
