Will Wright's simulation sensation, Spore, will be going gold in a week, according to CNET's report. Maxis Studios producer Thomas Vu said that the game will be on track for its launch this September 7. This long awaited title from publisher Electronic Arts will have players creating their very own world, from the tiniest cell to the largest terrain.
Spore will be currently released for the PC and Macintosh platforms. No official word yet on any console installments. Check out an exclusive hands on demo after the cut.
