Trekkie signs up! Cryptic Studios's MMO take on the classic sci-fi series has brought some new goodies on the Star Trek Online official game site. Although the game's details is still highly classified, the studio promises that they will showcase a demo this August 10, 2008 at the Official Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas. So if you're one of the devoted attendees, be sure to set your clocks to be on time at 1:30 pm in the Gene Roddenberry Theater.
In other Trekkie goodness, J.J. Abrams is still set to release his take on the sci-fi series with Star Trek, the new movie adaptation coming out March 2009, which will undoubtedly pop-up during the convention as well. Hit the source for more screenshots and info.
