The Force may be unleashed, but in terms of lightsaber combat it looks like they've taken a step back from the Jedi Knight series on the PC and tamed down realistic lightsaber wounds...

One of my favorite perks of Jedi Outcast was when I felt like I had truly bested a Reborn Dark Jedi by cutting off their saber hand. From the looks of this game, the best I've seen is when Starkiller impales a stormtrooper with his lightsaber into a tree, but even then there's no smoking hole in the trooper's chest or anything.

For all the technology that the 'Force Unleashed' development team invested in this game, would it kill them to make the combat seem a little more realistic?

I just wish this game was coming out for PCs. I can neither afford nor want to buy a console that is, if i'm being honest, completely inferior to my gaming rig just so I can indulge my Star Wars addiction.
