When Midway showed their Vin Diesel movie-tie-in game Wheelman at E3 last week for the PS3 and Xbox 360, some people of the press thought the game looked and felt a little unfinished. When the publisher told everyone that the game would released by the end of 2008, many were confused. It came as no surprise that Midway announced at Comic-Con this week that they have delayed Wheelman's release to the first financial quarter of 2009. This will give the team some extra time to polish up the mechanics and AI of the game, hopefully giving us a better end result when it finally hits store shelves. The game will still release before the corresponding film, but we're hoping both will be mildly enjoyable popcorn actioneers.
