There have already been a handful of rumors flying around the internets that Brett Ratner, director of such wonderful films as Rush Hour 2, Rush Hour 3, and X-Men: The Last Stand, would be sitting at the helm of a film adaptation of God of War.
Well at Comic-Con this year, someone may have slipped up and confirmed that fact. In an MGM press release about the new Robocop movie, a line discussing the film's writer may have revealed more than it intended. “David Self’s credits include 13 Days and Road To Perdition. He wrote God of War for Universal, to which Brett Ratner is attached to direct, and was a writer on Universal’s Wolfman currently in production."
Yeah, I know. Me too.
