Harold Ryan, president of Halo developer company Bungie, said to EuroGamer that his company disagreed with the decision last week to delay their rumored new Halo game announcement.
"Keeping things clean, I certainly didn't agree with the decision to delay our news until sometime after E3," said Ryan. He said that Bungie keeps their fans "first and foremost" when it comes to delivering expectations. Surprisingly, the presence of Halo was no where to be found during last week's E3 2008, even the RTS title Halo Wars that's currently being developed by Ensemble Studios.
Also, Xbox 360 business head Don Mattrick told EuroGamer during E3 that Ryan "just laughed" about the whole ordeal. "Whenever we are prevented from exceeding their positive expectations it is not a laughing matter," said Ryan in response. Well we're not laughing either Mr. Mattrick. You want to know what we think? FAIL.
