'Guitar Hero World Tour' Setlist Leak?

Posted by Stephen Johnson - Thursday, July 24, 2008 9:18 AM

The internets are buzzing with news that the Guitar Hero World Tour complete setlist may have leaked. Keep in mind, we have no way of knowing this information is correct, but it seems plausible, and even likely, given what we know of tracks that have been rumored for awhile.

Wow nice bonus tracks.

Also, atarting with the fathers of metal tour, to the end of the list, blows RB2's list AWAY. Just those 19 songs, lololol.

Posted by mongy69 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 9:56 AM
they probly messed maybe sting is a boss in the bass career

Posted by migstar - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:01 AM
Finally.... TOOL!!!! I am in.

Posted by staychisel - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:06 AM
those are some pretty good songs, but i hope you can play them all unlike in guitar hero 3 where certain songs are only available in co-op

wow, rock band has nothing on this track list *crosses fingers in hopes of it being real* ...unless ye be a geezer gamer... seems rock band pulls the older stuff. Some REALLY awesome tracks in here. A lot of fantastic new ones and some truly timeless classics. I'm stoked.

Posted by Narad26 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:13 AM
I really don't think that all of this can be true. I highly doubt that Tool would let them use there music. I just don't see it. I could be wrong. If I am, then I will have to buy it then lol.

Posted by IR77 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:14 AM
Honestly, this is probably the siickest track list ever. Pretty much everything I was hoping would be in GH3 is in this.

*crosses fingers this is real*

YES! TENACIOUS D ON GHWT AND RB2! I gotta be dreaming. DIO! BLACK SABBATH! TED! LYNYRD SKYNYRD! IRON MAIDEN! Just so you know, I am a huge fan of classic rock. I'll listen to almost anything that's not in the '00s.

Posted by phoenixfire360 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:19 AM
RUSH ftw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by BONERJAM - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:20 AM

This is awesome.

Posted by Snicker60515 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:26 AM
I was going to buy the game anyway, even if I didn't buy any new instruments, but after seeing Master of Puppets, Man in the box, Hot for teacher, Here to stay, and Dragula. I'll be picking this one up the day it comes out thank you very much. And maybe in the future, I'll even give Rock Band a try. Cheers!

"Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd
About time someone got some Pink Floyd.
GH... you just caught my attention

nice touch on the Tool as well.
'Hot for Teacher' drum intro better be insane.

Posted by B00MR1D3 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:34 AM
yes BEAT IT it's in GHWT im defenetly getting this 1 rather then RB2, suncrest face plate did for me

Posted by sleptwithghost - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:36 AM
SOLD! I would like to see some placebo in the game soon but smashing pumpkins, muse, mcr and TOOL will make me more then happy.

Posted by djowalsen - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:39 AM
Dio and Heaven and Hell? Well, it looks like I'll have to be purchasing this. Wish there was an option, but there isn't, it must be done.

Posted by jwebb1970 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:52 AM
1st it was that Van Halen & Hendrix were going to be in this one.

Now I see potentially THREE Tool tracks? Screw RB2, World Tour is MINE!!!

Plus, us Wii folk will finally have the GH DLC the "other guys" get.

Bring it on!!!

Posted by jason83214 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:52 AM

Posted by jwebb1970 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 10:53 AM
And I forgot....The Floyd!!

Yeah...ROCK BAND? What's that?

Posted by Reign316 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:09 AM
Where is the Hayley Williams battle?

Posted by Jubilantgravestone - Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:15 AM
All the good songs I once loved are now ruined by this horrible excuse for a video game. This game will suck ass. No doubt about it.

Posted by joeyrules - Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:25 AM
Where's The Darkness????

Posted by rickofavon - Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:26 AM
Hayley Williams battle? That sounds amazing.

Anyway, good track list like always still looking for Rock Band or Guitar Hero to provide at least one Talking Heads song.

Posted by SuPaC - Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:26 AM
uhm, i was just going to point out to those saying "zomg this is so much better than rock band 2", that uhm, rock band 1's instruments will work for both ghwt and rock band 2. really, why not just buy both, if you already have the instruments? and if you dont, buy one full kit, and the other game only. an added side note : fanboys of any sort make me vomit.

Posted by mcpwayne2005 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:27 AM
Rock band fan boy.

Posted by SithLordNitsu - Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:38 AM
i see maybe 5 songs that would be interesting otherwise I'll stick w/ rock band 2!!

Posted by ElmoPwnStar - Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:38 AM
@ SuPaC
I'd love to buy just the game, but I am a PS3 owner and I have a sneaking suspicion that just like most GH and RB items on the PS3 that none of them will be compatible with each other.
Sad Face... Oh Well.

Posted by slipknot2134z - Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:52 AM
this is the best list of songs i have ever seen on a game and it has something for everyone. can't wait!!!

Posted by GOBBLOXX - Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:58 AM
Sing me a song, your the singer!!!!!

Posted by kidnologo - Thursday, July 24, 2008 12:05 PM
@rickofavon

"Psycho Killer" is CONFIRMED FOR BRAW...RB2.

Posted by SuPaC - Thursday, July 24, 2008 12:07 PM
@ ElmoPwnStar
same here, but i pray we are wrong. rock band vs guitar hero fanboys are bad enough but that would bring out the xbox vs playstation fanboys, and COMBINE them. it will be the end of mankind as we know it. *sigh*

Posted by basskill2000 - Thursday, July 24, 2008 12:10 PM
I am seriously impressed. 90% of the tracks I have actually heard of. very cool hope it is real. can't wait to play tool - Schism on bass i can play it in real life, I want to see how they did it in the game.

Posted by Betty_Dizzle - Thursday, July 24, 2008 12:11 PM
I saw this setlist last night before G4 even posted it and ive been excited since then1!!! i even put out a myspace bulletin last night... awesome bands, good songs, but i still dont understand why there isnt any f'n Pantera on it!!!!!! But the Tool setlist will hold me for now ;)...

RB2 can shove itself up 360s a$$!!!

Posted by Senthoney - Thursday, July 24, 2008 12:13 PM
Well it's nice to see they are sticking to harder guitar songs, it's still GH!
