Thanks to a Blizzard employee posting on the World of Warcraft forums, we now have confirmation that when the new expansion, Wrath of the Lich King comes out, the experience required to go through levels 60-70 will be lowered, allowing players to level up faster than before. One would think this was a choice made by Blizzard so people could get to the level requirement for the new Death Knight Hero Class that comes with the new expansion, but when you remember that you only have to be at level 55 to create a Death Knight...one begins to wonder. Was this a choice to allow players to reach the new level max faster? Or is this a response to the fact that Age of Conan has been doing insanely well, and also has expedited leveling? We'll probably never know, but does it really matter? You know you'll be blasting through those levels with your Night Elf Death Knight, so enjoy.
