Do you see that driver on the left? That's us, waiting for our turn to finally drive the actual Gran Turismo 5. But according to IGN's interview with Polyphony Digital founder Kazunori Yamauchi, we may have to wait until 2010 to sit on the driver's seat.
Yamauchi said that his company is currently focused on updates to Gran Turismo 5: Prologue. He also talked about how Gran Turismo TV will attract more car enthusiasts other than GT players, especially with BBC's Top Gear show on board. He said that about 30 people from his team are currently working on programs solely for GTTV.
So we'll just have to wait for the next "update" for Gran Turismo 5: Prologue for the next racing-sim fix. But playing Prologue is like driving a rent-a-car - we just want the real deal.
