
It's a bad time to be Sony Ericsson. The cellphone makers profits fell 97%. We're not even sure how something like that is possible, but it happened. Blame weak sales of mid-to-high-end mobile phones for the shortfall in money.
As you might expect, Sony Ericsson employees are looks at lay-offs--probably around 2,000 jobs will be cut. Hopefully, the hotly anticipated Xperia (pictured above) will pull Ericcson out of the dumper.
