How did Capcom fail to announce this on their press event? Scans from Japan's revered Famitsu Weekly magazine (via WiiEveryday) indicate a Wii version of Capcom's other zombie masher, Dead Rising. Originally released for the Xbox 360 in 2006, Dead Rising is Capcom's ode to Dawn of the Dead as players take on the role Frank West, a photojournalist who gets locked up in a shopping mall full of the undead. Just like Capcom's translation of Resident Evil 4 for the Wii, expect some unique Wii-mote zombie slaying controls. No word yet on any release date here.
