Sony Press Event: $400 80 GB PS3 Announced

At Sony's E3 press conference today, the company revealed that the a $399 PlayStation 3 with a 80GB harddrive will take the place of the 40GB model at the middle of the PS3 pack.

The new PS3 will apparently have the same functionality as the 40GB model currently on sale.
