'Animal Crossing' Wii At E3?

It has been a while.

The scan above from UK's Official Nintendo Magazine for their E3 special next month suggests that a brand spanking new Animal Crossing game for the Wii will be unveiled during the convention. The last game, Animal Crossing: Wild World, was released in 2005 for the DS, while the original Animal Crossing was released back in 2002.

So fans, set up your clocks and pray that this is true. And definitely, most definitely check out our uber E3 coverage starting July 14.

Yes yes yes! I've been waiting for this! The first one was really fun, I got addicted to it for quite some time, same goes for Wild World. Hopefully AC Wii will live up to its predecessors.

We are finally getting verizon DSL in our area, I tell you satellite with the Wii is USELESS!!!! Doesn't work at all. I am velike a ry excited to try playing online with the DSL though when that gets put in. We just signed up for it today and will try to cancel our HughesNet. (yuck)

Can anyone tell me about why Animal Crossing is so great? I can imagine if it is an online mmorpg where you control little furry gangsters, it would probably be awesome. Actually I always thought online Miis like a big Zelda style world with Miis running around with swords would be incredible.

Or even like PS3 "Home" but with Miis.

Oh well.

But yeah thanks for info. By the way, the main reason I'm such a heartless bastard is because of the horrible satellite from HughesNet. And also because Stephen Johnson sucks at life. But now I am happy about the DSL stuff so perhaps things will change. :)

Wow. I was just thinking what happened to the Animal Crossing franchise a few days ago, and this pops up. SWEEEEET.

It would be sweet to actually be an animal in this one... but then many furry jokes would come.

I've been waiting a long time for news on this. If I don't get any at E3 I'm driving to Japan and smacking someone at Nintendo around (Don't bother me with somantics, I'm doing it anyways!). I just want customizable holidays (AC:WW holidays sucked compared to the original)

sorry lads but ive seen that photo and whoever is telling you this is lieing. im not saying that animal crossing is not comeing out for the wii tis this stuff about onm. im a subscriber to the mag and can tell you that onm said nothing of the sort. in the mag they just after a year went back playing wild world and pritty much said everyone haites you. they actully called the people zombies. so im not saying that thir wont be another one im just saying that onm said nothing about a new one

i was disappointed AC for the DS was almost exactly the same with very small and subtle differences. Hopefully the Wii version won't be the same.

cant wait, my g-cube versions charactors face deleated itself for some strange reason, and my ds version got vacuumed up after i forgot it at my friends house.
