Mortal Kombat Murder Girl Sentenced

Do you remember the tragic killing of 7-year-old Zoe Garcia last December? The child who died from injuries inflicted by Lamar Roberts, the boyfriend of her sister, Heather Trujillo, 17, who was babysitting for Zoe? And during the investigation, the couple allegedly told investigators that they were acting out moves from the classic game Mortal Kombat?

Well, Heather (above) just received an 18-year sentence which will be suspended if she successfully completes six years in a program for young offenders. She must also testify against her boyfriend during his trial.

By the way, Heather's aunt thinks that Lamar made up the Mortal Kombat story to "look tough."

You know what's not tough, Lamar? Murdering a little girl. Just sayin'...

(...and the name Lamar ain't so tough either!)

Good riddance and keep her ass in jail. I mean THINK ABOUT IT! Mortal Kombat involves the K-I-L-L-I-N-G of your opponent!

If I remember this story correctly, the girl broke the kids back. Now, follow me here, the character in mortal kombat that breaks backs is jax. And its not a fatality its just a regular move, so obviously she wasnt trying to kill the kid. And in the game, to do the backbreaker you have to hit the block button in mid air. So obviously the kid was attacking her and she was just trying to block the attack. Self defense. Man I should have gone to law school.

So he kicked the little girl, she, "punched [Zoe] in the stomach, karate chopped her lower arms, punched and pinched the victim's thighs, kicked her in the shins, slapped her stomach and buttocks and poked at the victim's chest." She gets the nice touchy feely sentence and in exchange she puts the black male in prison. What century are we living in?
