Remember earlier this week when every (including us) was reporting that Eddie Murphy said he was retiring from film soon after Meet Dave, his latest? And that he might even be gowing back to standup? Remember how exciting that was????

Well, he’s denying it now, and pledging to forge ahead with Beverly Hills Cop 4.

Oh crap.

He says he's making part 4 "because the third Beverly Hills Cop was horrible! I didn't want to leave it like that. The first two were cool and the third one was sh*tty. [Let's] get the franchise fixed again, clean up this old mess and do a good movie."

"When I go overseas they still call me Axel Foley — kids call me Axel Foley,” he added. “I think that character, it resonated like no other movie, like nothing that I've done before."

Right. Like nothing you've ever done before...except standup...which resonated the f***ing loudest!!! (And the most profane...)
