Hey, Brits: Save your tuppences, ha-pennies and other quaint forms of currency: According to Microsoft, British gamers may soon be paying more than anyone else for games. The culprit? A new rating system being mulled by the powers-that-be in the United Kingdom.
"We're in the business of providing great games to a broad audience of gamers, and we need to be able to fulfill that role by getting products to consumers quickly and at a good price," Microsoft's Neil Thompson told gi.biz. He went on to say that anything that slows down the process could mean higher prices for consumers.
Sorry, British people: Not only have you lost your empire, you might end up with more expensive games.
