The "Big Boss Emblem" is the hardest thing to obtain in Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3). Kojima Productions got pretty brutal with its requirements and they are:

  • Less Than 5 Hours Playtime on "The Boss Extreme" Difficulty: You are required to skip every cutscene possible.
  • No Alerts: Never be seen except during certain game sequences (boss fights, chases).
  • No Kills: Kill no humans in the game.
  • No Recovery Items Used: The only way you can gain life is by resting, which eats up valuable time.
  • No Continues: If you die, it's time to reload.
  • No Special Items Used: No Bandana or Stealth Camo for you!

Sounds pretty tough, yeah? Especially in a stealth action game on the hardest difficulty level! It's an impressive playthrough and uses a lot of tricks. It's a great showing of how to use smoke grenades and the Solar Gun to incapacitate or disable enemies.

Check out the first video here, but be aware that there are 14 parts. Also, even though all of the cutscenes are skipped... spoiler warning!
