Electronic Arts' David McCarthy said during a speech at the Paris GDC that EA was getting interested in using more peripherals for their games saying, "I think you'll see games using that Rock Band peripheral strategy from EA Sports, even within the next 12 months."
He added that he wanted to make sure the new peripherals didn't mean big expensive bundles, and referenced Rock Band as something they've been watching carefully on the Wii.
