EA DICE has just completed Battlefield: Bad Company which will be released on the 360 and PS3 on June 25. But they're certainly not resting on their laurels.
"We've got five [Battlefield] titles in development, which is more than you'd expect," said Ben Cousins, Executive Producer for the franchise. Uh, yeah, five sequels in development at one time seems a little excessive, especially considering the market for military shooters is flooded right now.
Mr. Cousins revealed that one of the games, Battlefield Heroes will be a free-to-play online cartoony shooter, but didn't give clues as to any of the other 4 titles. We'd like to think he said these were the other 4 titles:
- Battlefield: Sad Company
- Battlefield: Earth
- Battlefield Battletoads
- Battlefield Shmattlefield
