As part of tomorrow's PlayStation Store update, Sony announced that they will releasing a Metal Gear database tomorrow. The downloadable applications contains the official knowledge base of everything that is Metal Gear, from the very first game to Metal Gear Solid 4. That means complete, official details on every aspect of Metal gear lore.
So if you're new to the Metal Gear Universe and need to learn quick, or if you're an old hand and you want to reminisce, this is the just the thing. Plus, you can't beat the price: Free. Gratis. Nothing! With the insane number of titles in the Metal Gear world, and the deep level of detail the game offers, we imagine this will keep you busy for several hours!
Also, before you get worried: Sony says, "Information pertaining to or resolved by MGS4 will be blacked out until the final game has been finished to prevent spoilers."
