Chinese Develop Flying Saucer

Posted by Stephen Johnson - Tuesday, June 17, 2008 8:00 AM

The Chinese have developed a working flying saucer prototype that is driven by a propeller and can be controlled remotely or be set on a pre-planned route.

Harbin Smart Special Aerocraft Company, the designers of the thing, say they'll use it for "aerial photography, geological surveys and emergency lighting," but what about flying to peaceful planets and enslaving their populace? Let's use our imagination here, people.

I don't get it, it's been done before. A propeller? Am I missing something?

Things like this make me wonder what would've happened if my dad and I ever got the resources to build the flying saucer that we planned. Course, ours takes flight using magnets, not a propeller.

Magnets would probably be allot better. Little to no energy would be required to start it up. But just as an energy source for the propeller or maybe more. But that's tapping into almost free energy. Government doesn't want that since it would be hard to tax that sort of energy.
